These are the most expensive shoes in the world – and they got on that list by lots of different ways. Some are notorious with a history behind them; some are inlaid with precious stones and metals and some are years or decades ahead of their time. 30. Nike Lebron X

The first spot on our list goes to a pair of Nike sneakers that sold for $315. This was the highest price Nike ever slapped on a retail shoe. The Lebron X had some pretty incredible features like motion sensors to determine how fast you ran and how high you jumped.
